Dog Bites, Bead Up The Nose, Throwing Up, and Cubbies

Hubby went out of town last week for work. Normally we would go with him but I had sooooo much stuff to do. We are trying to get our house ready to put on the market by the end of the month. I have way too much packing and cleaning to do. This will be our fourth move since we've been married and Hubby has not packed one box. I can't complain that much because he does ALL the actual moving. Literally. When we moved into this house Hubby moved every box and all the furniture but one piece completely by himself. Mainly because we didn't have anyone to help us and I was pregnant but I was still impressed. I actually got alot accomplished while he was gone last week. I packed, made bread, learn to use my sewing machine, and cleaned. It was a crazy week. Woodstock got bit by a dog and swallowed a penny. I wasn't worried when he initially swallowed the penny (although he COMPLETELY freaked out). I just figured he would poo it out. Then he kept throwing up. I began to worry. Hubby came home the next day and took him to the doctor which then sent him to the ER. A half a day and x-rays later, they said it was in the bottom of his stomach. It was kind of blocking the hole where food goes out of your stomach. I wasn't too thrilled about that because he was born with pyloric stenosis and had to have that muscle at the bottom of the stomach cut because food couldn't pass out of it. We were a little worried the penny would be caught there or something. Two days of a liquid diet later and he's keeping things down. Looks like the penny will pass. His dog bite was fairly minor and healing up good too. Of course when it rains it pours. Stinkerbell couldn't let Woodstock get all of the attention. She managed to push a bead up her nose. Thankfully, I did get it out without another ER trip. Stinkerbell also had her own scary dog experience (not the same dog). She managed to come out of it with a tiny bruise and slightly traumatized emotionally. On a good note. Sunday Woodstock finished his first year of Cubbies. He was very proud and is looking forward to next year. Well, that was my week!
